Wonder Park Synopsis
This film follows the journey of a young girl named June whose wild imagination brings to life this wondrous amusement park. It is not until she runs through the woods after escaping from a bus on its way to Math Camp that she discovers how real her creation truly is. She soon discovers that she has not only created the magnificent Wonder Park, but its enemy as well.
The movie is definitely a fun watch. These days it seems like kids are using their imagination less and less, and I love to see a film that is encouraging the use of our imagination. I think that even for adults, this is a great reminder of the power of our mind. Furthermore, I absolutely love the theme of embracing your inner light while also acknowledging the fact that there would be no light without the dark. This is a really powerful message.
Would I watch again? Eh, maybe not without the kids, but I would definitely watch it with the kids again. As a matter of fact, I saw that they have this film in 3D, and I would love to go back and view it in 3D. This is the perfect movie for 3D effects.
Have you seen Wonder Park yet? Do you have plans to check out this film? I would love for you to share your thoughts in the comments below.
