Money-Saving Tips!
TIP #1:
Get the best deals when booking your hotel by using Ebooking. They have over 3,000,000 accommodations available from hotels to vacation homes and villas. You can also book without prepaying and you don’t have to worry about hidden fees!
Other hotel booking engines like booking.com can also help you find deals on your stay.
TIP #2:
Okay. Seriously. DO NOT skip this step. We saved a TON of money on our activities during our trip to Houston by using the CityPASS. The CityPASS includes admission to:
- Houston Downtown Aquarium
- Space Center Houston
- Houston Museum of Natural Science
- Houston Zoo OR Museum of Fine Arts
- Kemah Boardwalk OR Children’s Museum Houston
We seriously saved almost 50% on the total cost of our visits to the aquarium, Space Center, Museum of Natural Science, and the Zoo! This was such a fantastic value. So, whatever you do, if you are planning on visiting any of the aforementioned attractions in Houston, take advantage of the CityPASS.
TIP #3:
Take advantage of discounted gift cards and cashback apps to get more bang for your buck. You know I’m always going to remind you all to use those cash back apps and purchase gift cards from retailers such as Sam’s Club at a discounted rate. This is an easy way to cut back on costs for food and activities.
TIP #4:
Book your trip with a rewards credit card! If you’re going to spend all of this money on a vacation, you might as well use a credit card that offers rewards so you can get a little something back in return. Makes sense right?
