What is National Reading Month?
In alignment with the famous Children’s Book author Dr. Seuss’ birthday, March has been designated as National Reading Month in the U.S. During National Reading Month, children (and adults) are encouraged to spend more time reading and celebrating literacy.
Schools will typically engage children in fun reading activities and many organizations also join in on the fun.
This is a great opportunity to explore new books and teach your children to love reading.
