As the book explains, the most challenging times to curb hunger are just before bed and in the morning. The idea behind the Always Eat After 7 PM program is that you have the most willpower to stay on the diet because you are eating during the hours when you are most hungry. This also puts you into intermittent fasting increasing testosterone and your metabolism, while putting you into ketosis.

The Always Eat After 7 PM plan consists of:

  • The 14-day Acceleration Phase to kick-start the program and see rapid results
  • The Main Phase where you’ll learn exactly which foods to eat when in order to achieve your weight-loss goals
  • The Lifestyle Phase to keep the weight off for good
4 week results after allowing myself to eat after 7 pm

My Goals and Progress

Improved energy levels- I did find that after the first week, there was a noticeable boost in my energy. Some days I found myself feeling low on energy but that could very well be due to the demand placed on me those days.

Weight loss- I mentioned previously that I was not stepping on a scale at all during this diet. However, I was measuring my waistline which was my main area of focus during this time. I have so far decreased my waistline by 2.5 inches within 4 weeks.

Final Thoughts

I do plan to continue with the Lifestyle Phase of this diet plan at least for another 30 days or so to see if I lose more weight or unveil any other health benefits. After that, I will determine if this is something I will stick with for good. We have really been enjoying the recipes in the book so I will continue utilizing those and I definitely have plans to continue to “eat after 7 pm.” I have learned a lot over these four weeks and I am overall glad that I gave this diet a try. It has been very eye-opening.
