Create a Dedicated Workspace

First things first, make sure you set up an area of your home that will be used specifically for work. Even if you don’t have an entire room that you can turn into your home office, make sure you have at least one workspace that you can commit to working in daily.

Update Your Technology

Outdated computers, phones, printers, etc. can make working from home very uncomfortable. It can also increase your stress levels. If you can fit it into your budget, consider updating your technology. You can also use apps such as Groupon to find quality products at a lower price.

Invest in Ergonomic Furniture

Carefully choose the type of furniture you use in your office. Since you will likely be sitting for long periods of time, you will want to make sure that you have a quality office chair with lumbar support and maybe even a Tailbone Pain Relief Cushion and adjustable desk.

Eat Quality Meals and Snacks

Incorporating fruits, vegetables, and other nutritious foods in your meals and snacks can boost your energy levels and mood as you work. Eating low-quality junk foods can leave you feeling lethargic and uncomfortable.

Exercise and Stretch

Try a few desk exercises and stretches to get your body moving and to relieve any tension. Exercise is not only good for your health, but also great for your overall performance.

Wear Blue Light Blocking Computer Glasses

A pair of lightweight and durable computer glasses can help you reduce eye-strain while staring at a computer screen for hours. Once I started using computer glasses, I noticed a significant decrease in the number of migraines I was experiencing in a week.
