Monetize a Blog

Starting a blog doesn’t take much effort. But monetizing it can be quite time-consuming and come with a bit of a learning curve. However, speaking from experience, you can definitely make $100 a day (and MORE!) through your blog. A few ways to monetize a blog include affiliate marketing, ad placements, sponsored posts, and adding an online store to your blog.

Participate in Focus Groups

You can use websites such as Respondent and User Interviews to seek out focus groups in your area or online that will pay you for your participation. Focus groups can pay anywhere from $50 to over $200 for a couple of hours (or less) of your time. I have participated in both in-person and online focus groups, and it was always a pretty painless process.

Send Friends Your Referral Link

This is kind of like affiliate marketing, but it’s even easier. Are you using an app like Acorns, Fetch Rewards, Rakuten, or any of the other apps that pay you to refer a friend? If so, help a pal out and simply send them your referral link so that they can enjoy the app as well. It’s a win-win for both parties.

Take Surveys

If you have some extra time on your hands while sitting at home, you may want to consider taking surveys to make a few extra dollars.

I will say though, taking surveys can be a very time-consuming process and isn’t one of my personal favorites. You could very well end up spending hours taking surveys only to receive just a couple of dollars. BUT, it can be a great addition to your other money-generating activities.

Popular paid survey sites include Survey Junkie, Inbox Dollars, and Swagbucks.
