Have you been wondering how to make an extra $100 a day? Does earning $100 a day with a side hustle sound too good to be true? If so, I am here to show you that it is very much possible to earn an extra $100 on a daily basis. Here are 33 ways to get started doing just that.

Monetize a Blog

Starting a blog doesn’t take much effort. But monetizing it can be quite time-consuming and come with a bit of a learning curve. (I highly recommend checking out The Blog Method to build out a monetized blog as efficiently as possible.) However, speaking from experience, you can definitely make $100 a day (and MORE!) through your blog. A few ways to monetize a blog include affiliate marketing, ad placements, sponsored posts, and adding an online store to your blog.

Participate in Focus Groups

Seek out focus groups in your area that will pay you for your participation. Focus groups can pay anywhere from $50 to over $200 for a couple of hours (or less) of your time. I have participated in both in-person and online focus groups, and it was always a pretty painless process.

Send Friends Your Referral Link

This is kind of like affiliate marketing, but it’s even easier. Are you using an app like Acorns, Fetch Rewards, Rakuten, or any of the other apps that pay you to refer a friend? If so, help a pal out and simply send them your referral link so that they can enjoy the app as well. It’s a win-win for both parties.

Take Surveys

If you have some extra time on your hands while sitting at home, you may want to consider taking surveys to make a few extra dollars.

I will say though, taking surveys can be a very time-consuming process and isn’t one of my personal favorites. You could very well end up spending hours taking surveys only to receive just a couple of dollars. BUT, it can be a great addition to your other money-generating activities.

Popular paid survey sites include Survey Junkie, Inbox Dollars, and Swagbucks.

Become a Mystery Shopper

I know quite a few people personally who participate in mystery shopping opportunities to earn extra money throughout the week. I have signed up for mystery shopping platforms but have not yet taken advantage of any of the opportunities. But this is another option!

Deliver Food

You can sign up with companies such as UberEats and/or DoorDash to earn some extra money simply delivering meals throughout the day. If you’re in the right location, you can easily make $100 a day with just a couple hours of making deliveries.

Turn Your Car into a Moving Ad

Believe it or not, you can actually sell ad space directly on your car! You can work with companies like Carvertise or Market Your Car to turn your car into a moving billboard.

Become a Proofreader

It doesn’t take a huge investment to learn how to become a proofreader. And you can actually earn a full-time income from the comfort of your home proofreading documents. I discuss this in more detail in this article about becoming a proofreader.

Start a Pet Sitting Business

If you love animals and helping others with their pets, you may want to start a pet sitting business. You choose which pets you want to care for and decide whether or not you will welcome them into your home or visit them at theirs.

Become a Virtual Assistant

The tasks you complete as a virtual assistant can vary greatly, but it’s really up to you to decide what type of services you would like to offer. You may choose to offer administrative support, customer support, social media management, bookkeeping, or something else. The choice is yours. You can then promote your services on platforms like Fiverr or on social media.

Uber or Lyft

If you have a reliable vehicle, you can sign up to work for ridesharing services such as Uber or Lyft to earn extra money throughout the day.

Deliver for Amazon

Sell Your Crafts

If you are a crafty individual, you can open an Etsy shop or sell your crafts at craft shows, on a personal website, or on another platform. There are so many different ways to get your crafts in front of your target audience and start raking in some extra cash.

This is actually one of my fave ways to earn some extra money. Scanning receipts is so easy and many of us accumulate so many over time. Why not use those receipts to bring in a few extra dollars? I currently use Amazon rewards which I believe is invitation only but I also love Fetch Rewards and have gotten many of my family and friends to join as well.

Use Cashback Apps

I highly recommend checking out my Beginner’s Guide to Couponing to learn more about using cashback apps. But taking advantage of cashback opportunities is a great way to bring in extra money. I also recommend using cashback credit cards to earn extra money.

Become a Freelancer

Are you good at copywriting? Is graphic design more your thing? Want to audit and optimize social media accounts? Guess what, you can sell your services on Fiverr as a freelancer. Fiverr offers a massive opportunity to reach professionals looking for freelancers they can outsource tasks to.

Start a Dropshipping Business

Speaking of Fiverr, you can find freelancers on Fiverr to help you quickly get a dropshipping business up and running for a very reasonable cost. If you are new to the concept of dropshipping, there are Fiverr sellers who will be very beneficial to you as you go through the process.

Teach Online

Whether you choose to teach a language, a couponing class or start a tutoring service, there are so many different ways to make money teaching students from your computer.

Rent Out Extra Space

You can rent out an extra bedroom on Airbnb to local travelers. You can also rent out extra storage space or even open up your free space to foreign exchange students.
