Suffering from Brain Fog? Try This!

brain fog symptoms

Brain fog symptoms can come about for any number of reasons. But one thing that’s for sure is this — it is definitely disruptive to productivity. Us Moms often refer to it as “Mom Brain” and it is so common that whenever I mentioned it to others, they had their own stories about how this fogginess has, or had been, impacting their own lives.

Personally, I was tired of just feeling out of sorts most days. I decided to look for solutions. If it was as simple as correcting a nutritional deficiency, I wanted the best brain fog supplement on the market. I wanted my life back. I wanted to be “sharp” and quick on my feet like I had been in the past. So my journey to the solution began.

Common Brain Fog Symptoms

Brain fog symptoms may include:

  • Poor concentration
  • Confusion
  • Poor memory
  • Insomnia
  • Oversleeping
  • Chronically feeling fatigued
  • Vision problems

With brain fog, you may just have a general feeling of disorientation or just a strange sense of fogginess that can be difficult to put into words.

What Causes Brain Fog?

Brain fog can come about for many different reasons. Here are a few common causes.

  • Lack of sleep
  • High blood pressure
  • Nutritional deficiencies
  • Mental health conditions such as depression
  • Side effects from medication
  • Low blood sugar
  • Viral infections such as COVID-19
  • Alzheimer’s and dementia

I highly recommend working alongside your physician to help you determine what the cause may be for any fogginess you are experiencing.

Using a Brain Health Supplement

Again, I encourage you to work with your health care provider to help you determine the root cause of your brain fog and symptoms. However, if you determine that a nutritional deficiency is the cause (as it was for me), it may be time to enlist the help of a quality brain health supplement

I started using B.Smart Brain Fuel from Beekeeper’s Naturals. It’s a caffeine-free liquid supplement that comes in tiny vials. The ingredients include royal jelly,  ginkgo biloba leaf extract, and bacopa monnieri plant extract.

The royal jelly supports hormonal balance and is comprised of nutrients and antioxidants that support cognitive function. Bacopa monnieri is an herb that is commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine and helps reduce cortisol levels. This herb may also help enhance brain function and its ability to learn and retain information. Gingko Biloba can help boost blood flow to the brain.

PROS

  • Beekeeper’s Naturals uses the highest-quality ingredients.
  • Provides the brain and body with key nutrients
  • Caffeine-free
  • Comes with a 100% money-back guarantee

CONS

  • It tastes absolutely awful. I’ll be honest with you, this stuff is pretty hard to swallow.
  • It is quite pricey at $30 for 6 10ml vials.
  • If you’re allergic to bee products, you cannot take this product.

Ultimately, a brain health supplement can be greatly beneficial even for those who are not experiencing brain fog. But if you are experiencing brain fog symptoms, a supplement could definitely be the thing you need.
