Amusement Parks to Visit During Family Vacation in the USA

Cedar Point (Ohio)

Cedar Point is a great amusement park located in Sandusky, Ohio. Cedar Point is known for its many great roller coasters, including the world-famous Top Thrill Dragster.

Cedar Point also has a variety of other rides and attractions, as well as a water park called Cedar Point Shores.

 

Disney’s Magic Kingdom (Florida)

The Magic Kingdom is a great amusement park located in Orlando, Florida. The Magic Kingdom is a part of the larger Walt Disney World Resort and is known for its many great rides and attractions, including the iconic Cinderella’s Castle.

 

Busch Gardens (Florida, Virginia)

Busch Gardens is a theme park that offers visitors more than just rides and roller coasters. The park has more than 2,200 animals, including lions, tigers, bears, giraffes, and elephants.

Busch Gardens also has many food options including pizza and ice cream stands.

 

Knott’s Berry Farm (California)

Knott’s Berry Farm is a theme park that has been around since 1940 and is located in Buena Park, California.

The park is themed around berries and berry-related products, and it’s best known for its haunted houses, which have been scaring people for decades.

It also has roller coasters and other rides, as well as a water park called Soak City USA.

 

Six Flags Magic Mountain (California)

Six Flags Magic Mountain is a theme park located in Valencia, California, just outside Los Angeles.

Dollywood (Tennessee)

Dollywood is a theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, that was founded by Dolly Parton and her family. The park features attractions inspired by the singer’s career and songs, as well as an amusement park and water park.

 

SeaWorld San Diego (California)

SeaWorld San Diego is a great place for families looking for something more educational than just rides.

The park offers dozens of shows featuring dolphins, penguins, sea lions, whales, and more animals from all over the world.

There are also several rides available for those who just want to relax on vacation too—including one that takes riders through an underwater tunnel where they can see how fish live up close!
