As a business owner working in the competitive digital marketing field, visibility on the world wide web is crucial to my success. One of my goals for my copywriting business is to increase traffic to my website and attract more of my ideal customers. So, I recently accepted a 30-day challenge to help me do just that. In Russell Brunson’s new book Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers, Russell teaches readers how to master evergreen traffic strategies in order to fill our website and funnels with our dream customers. I was up for the challenge.
I’ve been running my professional copywriting business for about 3 years now, and while it is generating a decent income for me, I know that I can and should be attracting many more clients. There is a specific type of client that I would like to attract to my business, and this 30 Day Challenge is helping me to do just that.
My Dream Customer
“If you don’t truly understand your dream customers . . . then it will be hard to find them.”- Russell Brunson
So far in the challenge, I have had to really study my ideal customer. I have been operating my business based on a buyer persona that I outlined nearly 5 years ago when I started creating my company. This was a great guide for me as I built my business. However, I didn’t realize that there were a couple of key characteristics I was overlooking such as where they congregate, type of podcasts they listen to, and the various social accounts they follow.
As I work through this 30-day challenge, I am taking a closer look at my buyer persona and learning new techniques to get their eyes on my products and services. I already know I have a FANTASTIC and highly requested service to offer. I just need to get my dream customers to know that my company even exists! Thankfully, Russell Brunson is giving me the tools and knowledge I need to get consumers to find me.
Effort and Commitment is Required
I will give you a heads up. If you’re not interested in really giving this challenge your all, you are not going to receive the benefits. There is a fair amount of work required on your end to start filling your funnels with your dream customers, but I am sure you already expect that. I will, however, say that every traffic-building activity included in Traffic Secrets is broken down in a way that is easy to digest and implement. There is also a thorough explanation as to why you are completing each activity and what you can expect to gain by doing so – that I can appreciate.
The Dream 100
If you are totally clueless as to who is included in your Dream 100, what a Dream 100 is, and how to even use it, you will definitely want to snag a copy of Traffic Secrets and try the challenge for yourself. Identifying my Dream 100 has been one of the most impactful activities I have done so far in the challenge and I am so excited to continue using my Dream 100 list to help me expand my reach and attract more of my ideal customer.
Essentially what this all comes down to is having an effective strategy to attract a specific type of customer to your business. Russell Brunson shares with us the perfect playbook to follow regardless of the platforms you’re using to market your business and regardless of the type of business you run. The best part is, no matter what changes the search engines or social networks make, you can always apply this strategy to fill your funnels with your dream customers.
Basically What I’m Saying is…
If the marketing strategies you’re currently using aren’t delivering the outcomes you have hoped for, it’s worthwhile to check out Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers by Russell Brunson.
