Healthy Immune Boosting Jelly Beans
2 Tbsps. pure water
2 Tbsps. High quality gelatin
2 Tbsps. Fresh lemon juice
2 Tbsps. raw honey
Mix the water and the gelatin in a double boiler on low heat. Remember not to let the water boil or simmer. Add the lemon juice and the honey. Stir until the honey melts completely and the consistency is fully homogenous. Pour the liquid in proper silicon forms and place them in the fridge for several hours.
If you and your kids like this recipe, you can increase the quantities and use various fun forms. After the candies are ready, put them in a glass jar with a tight lid and store them in the fridge.
Beside the lemons and honey, which have proven health benefits, gelatin is also a substance that is extremely valuable for us. It strengthens the ligaments, the hair, nails, and skin. It improves our appearance with its anti-age properties, and keeps us flexible and agile.
