DIY Summer Bucket List Jar

Summer is here! And we decided to start the first week of Summer off by creating our very own “Summer Bucket List Jar”. This is a cute little twist to one’s traditional bucket list. By the way, if you haven’t yet created a bucket list (doesn’t have to be only for summer), you should definitely do so.

DIY Summer Bucket List Jar
Basically what we did here is come up with a few activities that we would really like to do as a family this summer, wrote each idea on a Popsicle stick, and stuck them in this cute little sparkly jar that ‘Ai made for me as a Mother’s Day Gift this year.

We were able to do this project without making any trips to the store and spending any money. We just used 11 (I actually needed 14) Popsicle sticks that we had just sitting around, a Sharpie, and of course that absolutely fabulous jar.

So, you’re probably wondering what we are actually going to do with this jar of Popsicle sticks. Well, at the beginning of each new week, we are going to pull one of those sticks out and whatever activity is pulled, we will do that week. Simple but really exciting. You can even use enough sticks to pull a new activity each day if you prefer. You should definitely try it!
