25 Days of Christmas Reading Challenge

This time of year brings many families together as they celebrate the holidays and share gifts with another. It’s a wonderful opportunity to engage in quality family time with those you may not see often or even those you see everyday but may not spend much quality time with. Throughout this season, I like to try new and fun holiday-themed ways to spend quality time with my family and I came up with something new for the little ones this year!

We will be trying a 25 Days of Christmas Reading Challenge. Yes, this is an idea that just randomly popped into my head but it’s kind of a cool concept. Basically, we will be reading a different Christmas story every single night for 25 Days straight leading up to Christmas. It gives the girls something new to look forward to each night. ‘Ailani is ALREADY excited about it and we haven’t even started yet!

At first, I was trying to figure out how I was gonna pull this off. Like, do I checkout 25 Christmas books from the library over the next few weeks? Do I purchase a collection of Christmas books from Amazon? Or what?? Then I remembered my Epic! reading app subscription! I could download all of the books to my phone and tablet and just read from there! Duhhh!  I downloaded 25 Christmas books on Epic! this past weekend so I’m all ready to go and I am super excited!

If you love this idea and want to join us, you can sign up for a 30 day Free-Trial of Epic! right here and get in on the fun for FREE. You’ll have a pretty good collection of Christmas books to choose from and you can start right along with us on November 30!

Do you have a favorite story you like to read around the Holidays this time of year? Share in the comments below.

I’d also love to hear if you’ve decided to join us in our Reading Challenge. 🙂

Happy Holidays!
